Our City Tour on November
29th
- a less foggy day before Marathon day
We arrive at the hotel Nov. 28th in the evening from Honolulu

Seattle is only 2 miles wide, east to west, and is over
100 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean and is surrounded by lakes.

Seattle has lots of public art, % of government building fund goes to purchasing art; note metal layered tree to right
100+ car train keeps us waiting at an intersection
Busy waterfront
International commerce comes to Seattle ports; for esample larger ships from China come for Am. wheat
Seattle is famous for glass art and crafts
Infamous Cadillac Hotel, where "working women" waved from windows above in late 1800s.
