Wow! We are paying $2.32 at the moment in Honolulu (but better than when we were paying over $4/gallon last year)
Definitely "Gas For Less" in New Orleans as compared to Hawaii

Now down Orleans Ave., quite different neighborhood from St. Charles.

New Orleans Mardi Gras spirit presides.

Now that's living!

15 miles (15-16 miles in the Mid-City district)

Bayou Bicycles and American Can Company (only top 500 Fortune company now in New Orleans is Shell Corp.)

Canals from the Mississippi River tributeries

Cocktails & hotdogs at the "Turn For The Worse"

Old metal bridge with bicyclist scratching his back (nah)

16 & counting.....

Remembering a Conferate Army general of the Civil War

Only incline of any note on this flat marathon course.

On the bridge - view reviews contrast of railroad days with later constructed concrete highway

17 miles in the Bayou & St. John area of the city

18 mile mark, close to Filmore Ave.

19 miles along Robert E. Lee Blvd. He was the most famous Confederate general of the Civil War.
