Bronson prepares with Erin a poster sign

Brought a tears to my eye as this was my coveted 20th life time marathon. Erin holds "20th!"

Resting after the marathon

Popular local restaurants; it was packed and the prices are reasonable. I'm wearing my Finisher's shirt 2007

Wife Erlinda and Bronson check out the People's Market

Big Island of Hawaii is famous for anthuriums

Local fruits, really cheap compared to supermarket prices

Note the cruise ship off Kona

Lonely papaya tree; probably from seed in bird dropping

lava rocks

Had hamburger and beer up there; kind of long wait.

Bronson went with I think a cheesy tortilla; the bottles in front are for me as I hydrate the day before the run.

One week later I flew to attend the 60th anniversary of the
"Roswell Incident" in Roswell, New Mexico.
Probably lst Roswell baseball cap in Kona? And there's my carbo loading
pile of stuff I don't usually eat.
