Day break going up Diamond Head Crater, about 8 miles, lead runners arriving the other way






Running a sub-5 minute mile, lead runner from Kenya, at about the 25th mile, on his way to collect $40,000 1st Place.  So the elite
runners never ran in daylight but did complain about the humidity, present even while dark.

- Erlinda drove me to the early morning shuttle bus at 3:40 am, then went back to sleep
